I’m Scott Shultz—a senior technology executive and advisor with 30+ years of experience helping organizations modernize how they build, run, and scale technology. My work sits at the intersection of IT operations, platform engineering, and transformation leadership—turning complex operational realities into clear strategies, practical execution plans, and measurable outcomes.

 

On stage, I bring an operator’s point of view. I’ve spent my career inside high-stakes environments where reliability, security, and speed aren’t abstract goals—they’re requirements. That’s why my talks focus on what leaders can actually do to move from reactive operations to resilient, intelligent systems. I combine real-world lessons with direct frameworks and a bit of humor to keep the conversation grounded and memorable.

I’ve owned significant budgets and planning cycles, and I’ve delivered programs tied to resilience, security, cost optimization, and customer experience, including initiatives that use automation and data to improve operational performance.

 

What I’m known for is clarity and execution. I’m not interested in hype. I’m interested in what works—how to define the real problem, design a system that can scale, and drive change across people, process, and platform. My goal in every talk is simple: leave leaders with a sharper mental model, a set of actionable next steps, and the confidence to move from firefighting to foresight.
